SOS Safety Consulting is a field-driven safety practice. The people who write your program are the people who have stood in front of a crew and made the call.
Who we are
SOS Safety Consulting, LLC was founded by Corey Wortham, a construction safety leader whose experience includes concrete construction, mission-critical data centers, industrial shutdowns and turnarounds, manufacturing, and owner-representative assignments. Corey brings field experience, technical safety knowledge, and direct project accountability to every engagement.
We are based in Omaha, NE and support projects nationwide. The practice covers three connected things: consulting for the safety questions a project runs into, documentation that survives an owner review and still works in the field, and qualified safety professionals placed on site when a project needs daily presence.
Founder Corey Wortham leads the practice and is the person you talk to. He also co-hosts The Standard of Safety with Dave Moore and Shane Moore — an ongoing conversation about how safety actually gets done on construction projects. If you want to know how we think before you hire us, start there.

How we work
Findings are corrected at the point of exposure where possible, and documented either way. A report that nobody acts on is not safety work.
If your deadline is not achievable, we say so before we take the work instead of confirming and scrambling.
AHAs and site-specific plans written to the actual sequence, contractors, and exposures — not a template with your name swapped in.
The consultants who write the documentation support the professionals we place. Questions on site reach someone who can answer them.
